Instructional Technologies hosted the winners of Washington's Congressional App Challenge, a mobile application development contest for teens sponsored by Congresswoman Jaime Herrera Beutler (R-WA). Each of the three teams presented their apps, and Beutler presented each with a certificate. Then the attendees, their families and the congresswoman's team took a tour of the ITI facilities, including our green screen room, audio recording booth, and production team.
Herrera Beutler sits on the Transportation Subcommittee of the House Ways and Means Committee, so is very familiar with the challenges of trucking industry. She's been a vocal leader in the fight against sex trafficking, and ITI looks forward to joining her in that effort.
For a write up of the visit, you can see the story at The Columbian.
