Laura McMillan

Laura is VP of training development at Instructional Technologies, Inc., an industry leader in safety training solutions. She is a seasoned practitioner with over 15 years of experience in the transportation-logistics industry. She has a BS in Business Management and an MA in Instructional System Design and Adult Learning. She has extensive experience with the analysis, design, development, deployment and evaluation of driver and non-driver training programs. She has a Class A-CDL and has served on the curriculum certification committee with the Professional Truck Driver Institute (PTDI). She served on the curriculum sub-committee as part of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s (FMCSA) proposed rule for entry level driver training (ELDT). She currently serves on the Board of Governors of the National Private Truck Council (NPTC). She is an award winning instructional designer recognized by the American Society of Training and Development (ATD) and a frequent speaker at American Trucking Association (ATA) events.
