FMCSA and CSA Scores: Be Careful What You Wish For

Laura was VP of training development at Instructional Technologies, Inc., an industry leader in safety training solutions. She died in April 2020. She was a seasoned practitioner with over 15 years of experience in the transportation-logistics industry. She had extensive experience with the analysis, design, development, deployment and evaluation of driver and non-driver training programs. She earned a Class A-CDL and served on the curriculum certification committee with the Professional Truck Driver Institute (PTDI). She served on the curriculum sub-committee as part of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s (FMCSA) proposed rule for entry level driver training (ELDT). She currently serves on the Board of Governors of the National Private Truck Council (NPTC). She is an award winning instructional designer recognized by the American Society of Training and Development (ATD) and a frequent speaker at American Trucking Association (ATA) events.
